His Excellency, Mr. Yong-kil Kim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Her Excellency, Ms. Albertina Maria Domingos Mac Donald, Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique and His Excellency Mr. Gyan Chandra Acharya, Ambassador of Nepal, presented their Letters of Credence to President Michael D. Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin today.
His Excellency, Mr. Yong-kil Kim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea was accompanied by Mr. Chanwoo Kim, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
Her Excellency, Ms. Albertina Maria Domingos Mac Donald, Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique, was accompanied by her daughter Ms. Erica May Yu Mac Donald de Wing and Mr. Fulgencio Timoteo Muchanga Madinga, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique.
His Excellency, Mr. Gyan Chandra Acharya, Ambassador of Nepal, was accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Sunita Acharya and Mr. Ram Babu Nepal, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Nepal.
Mr. Thomas Byrne TD, Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and the Department of Education with special responsibility for Sport and Physical Education, represented the Government at the ceremony.

Leanne Nolan, Capt Pól Ó Domhnaill, Aides-de-Camp to the President; Mr. Joe Brennan and Mr. Christopher Boucher, Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Ambassadors were accompanied to and from Áras an Uachtaráin by an Escort of Honour consisting of a motorcycle detachment drawn from the 2 Brigade Cavalry Squadron, Cathal Brugha Barracks, Dublin, under the command of Second Lieutenant Oisín O’Rourke.
A Guard of Honour was provided at Áras an Uachtaráin by 1 Mechanised Infantry Company, DFTC, Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare under the command of Lieutenant Adam Doyle
2nd Lieutenant Finn Richardson from 1 Mechanised Infantry Company was the flag officer.
Captain John Carpenter conducted the Army No 1 Band which is based in Cathal Brugha Barracks, Co. Dublin.
